Turn off the media  immediately, especially if you’re listening to abnormal noises.

Do not force the disk with tools that do not handle bad sectors; this could lead to trays scratches. 

Do not open the disk outside a clean room. This will leave traces and the laboratories charge extra for cleaning the trays

Nous ne prenons pas de frais de diagnostic sur les disques durs. Le succès de la récupération est notre seule source de revenu. Why do you lose data on a SSD disk ? 

Unlike magnetic hard drives, SSD models are stronger. Stored data is stored from so-called flash memory. As a result, the risk of loss of the latter due to a mechanical failure is almost non-existent.

Even if your support falls or is shocked, your files remain intact. Loss on this type of device occurs when data and Flash memory are damaged. The most common failures are generally in the order of:

  • Virus attack: SSD devices are not immune to viruses. When malware enters the disk, it attaches to the documents and infects it. If you do not install an antivirus, malware programs corrupt the system and make your information inaccessible and unreadable. In this case, you may need to clear the memory to have a formatted system.
  • The operating system crashed: the support operating system crashes usually because of a software malfunction.

  • Voluntary or unintentional formatting: the SSD device can be formatted because it is infected with viruses, because its system is not recognized or when you install a new operating system. In any case, it erases the information in the drive.
  • Electronic compounds are failing

What to do in case of data loss in a SSD media ? 

The SSD device is used by both professionals and individuals. When stored files are lost, it is important to perform a data recovery. How ? Software recovery can be enuf to find deleted documents. However, this method does not solve the problem. 

It may happen that the system offers you to do a formatting. We recommend you to not accept this proposal,so as not to reduce the chances of recovering your documents.

How to reduce the risk of permanent data loss ?
